Each child is given a limited budget, and they must carefully manage their funds to buy all the necessary items on their shopping list. The price list can be set by parents, allowing them to adjust the level of difficulty based on the level of children.

Marketplay also includes play money and this feature enhances the learning experience by allowing children to physically handle and count money as they make their purchases.
