We have a number of gorgeous Hong Kong businesses whose work and products we LOVE and now sell alongside The Lion Rock Press goodies (in store and online). We thought it was time we showcased the people behind them! Jane Eve creates the most gorgeously scented candles in beautiful chinoiserie style ceramic bowls and vessels. I have her Dragon Pot candle which keeps my home smelling lovely and is much admired by anyone visiting! Here she shares a bit more about herself and the inspiration behind the business she has created.

Inspiration
My inspiration was initially the decorative oriental bowls, especially the blue and white Chinese theme. I had not seen any other candle products on the market in this style and thought it was a great missed opportunity. My brand style is botanical and ethereal, I really enjoyed coming up with my unique branding, this was probably the trickiest part of the process but I had such a clear vision of how I wished for it to look.
Favourite Thing to Do or See in Hong Kong
Having a 3 month old and a 5 year old makes exploring Hong Kong a little tricky at the moment, but we look forward to future family hikes and visiting islands we haven't yet come across. We love a beach day on the outlying Sai Kung islands. Without kids, my husband and I probably enjoy summer junk days the most!
