As some of you may know my first venture beyond working from the kitchen table in the early days of The Lion Rock Press was when I won a start-up competition and received 60 hours of time in Garage Society - a brilliant co-working space in Sheung Wan. I am so grateful for the stepping stones they helped provide me with which helped support the growth of the business.
Garage Society is still in Arion Commercial Centre - a mere 15 (& 16!) floors above where LRP HQ is these days!
I was invited back to chat to the Garage team recently for a feature on their website about the 'Entrepreneur's Journey' and thought you'd be interested in reading it too! As well as talking about The Lion Rock Press journey I also give a bit of a sneak peek into a new business I am in the middle of launching. ‘Roksaan’ is a brand new built-from-scratch tech platform for creating custom greeting cards! Customers can personalise the cards, upload photos and write their own messages and can choose to add a gift. The cards can be sent direct to the recipient or can be sent to the customer give themselves! 💌
Exciting times! Watch this space for the full launch in the new year!
