A white poodle waits for its owner to return home to their small studio apartment overlooking a Sham Shui Po street market. Based on the March 1, 1982 New Yorker magazine cover by Jean-Jacques Sempé.
Sophia started her series of illustrations as a parody of The New Yorker magazine covers. The collection has now grown and evolved as a way for her to express her experiences and observations of Hong Kong, the place her family has called home for over 150 years.
