Anene Hanley is a devoted wife, mother, and passionate teacher with a love for storytelling. Her fascination with marine life blossomed after moving to Thailand in 2018, where she discovered the wonders of the ocean. When she's not teaching or writing, Anene enjoys traveling, snorkeling and days on the beach with her daughter.

Anli Michon, the illustrator, has been living in Hong Kong for almost 10 years. She has a passion for the natural world and loves to spend hours snorkeling and observing sea creatures. Thanks to Anene's ideas and confidence in her abilities, Anli recently discovered that she can also draw, and this book is the result of her first illustration project.
